Nice. Not A match for FIFA - but I will count it as an A match because both countries played with their A team.

PS - Instead of opening a new topic for every Libya match, why not put them all in one topic?

I believe the FIFA statues allow a non-neutral referee, if both teams agree beforehand. Or at least, that's what they used to say.   So it would only fair FIFA's criteria on the unlimited substitutions.

No, it's because Equatorial Guinea did not get permission from CAF for the match - so CAF could not authorise the match, and it is therefore unofficial.

Did the fact Spain use one too many substitutes have anything to do with it?

That was the match South Africa vs Spain.   Or are you suggesting that Spain used 7 subs in both games?

Here are the 6 subs I noted down for Spain vs Equatorial Guinea:
14 Alonso (16 Busquets 43')
9 Negredo (19 Llorente 46')
8 'Koke' (6 Iniesta 57')
20 Cazorla (7 Villa 58')
22 Navas (11 Pedro 66')
3 In~igo (15 Ramos 80')
