I read somewhere there are questions of the result of the 17-12-1948 match Martinique vs Suriname. 4-3 or 3-2? One can read here the result is 4-3. Deira, Nelom and Kamperveen scored for Suriname. Martinique scored the winning goal three minutes before the end.

A report of the 30-09-1956 Guyana 1-2 Suriname match including Suriname line up.This match was the final one of a best of three. The previous matches ended 1-1 and in a 2-1 loss for Suiname. Rijkaard scored the 1-1. Even though Humphrey Mijnals did not play (Rijkaard was his substitute) the results were very disappointing for Suriname, which expected clear wins.

Does anyone have the full data of this tournament:

In Groningen 1989, KNVB 100-jaar (?)

2-10-89 Antilles 2-2 Suriname
5-10-89 East Germany 6-0 Antilles (or 10-10)
5-10-89 Netherlands 2-0 Suriname
7-10-89 East Germany 3-0 Suriname (or 12-10)
-10-89 Netherlands 1-0 East Germany (or 8-10)

East Germany Olympic, Netherlands Olympic (or U21, same thing : U23 rules confirmed by FIFA and IOC on 31/8/1989). Mark said that SVB told him Suriname used Olympic team , maybe Antilles also.

According to my information:
03.10.1989 Heemskerk   Neth.Antilles -  Suriname Ol. 2-2
03.10.1989 Heemskerk   Netherlands Am. - East Germany Ol. 1-0
05.10.1989 Haarlem        Neth.Antilles - East Germany Ol.  0-6
05.10.1989 Haarlem        Netherlands Am. - Surinam Ol. 2-0
07.10.1989 Heemstede    Netherlands Am. - Neth.Antilles 2-1
07.10.1989 Heemstede    East Germany Ol. - Surinam Ol. 3-0

Yes, but my reply was not coming from RSSSF, where I didn't find the Tnmt, because I searched on the wrong section.
BTW, your site now is working again. That's fine.

I see.  It wasn't immediately obvious to me which part of your reply was yours.

BTW the cantab.net hosting occasionally goes down briefly.  There is nothing I could do about it in general.

Who MVV is?
It should be a Surinamese club.

I manage to bypass the problem using a different browser. I mean: if the website is not available on Firefox, I use Explorer. If it doesn't work on Explorer, I use Chrome and vice-versa. It almost always works using this tactic.

Yes, Luca, it should be, according to Wikipedia, the present SNL military Club (from Paramaribo), originally called MVV. But I'm sure you already consulted the Site. Thanks.
