On 29-05-1954 Hungary beat a Luxembourg XI 10-0 in Luxembourg. Please can anyone tell what kind of team Luxembourg fielded?

This website explains what kind of team it was: Union Luxembourg which is a club team.

One can read a match report here http://anno.onb.ac.at/cgi-content/anno?apm=0&aid=nfp&datum=19380425&seite=6&zoom=1 says among others the match is the 84th between both sides and the what they name Germanaustrians were not able to break the 4 year unbeaten run of the Hungarians.
Some facts about Hungary v Austria: at the time Hungary and Austria have played 82 official A-internationals so far (including the 10 played as Budapest v Vienna in the 1902-08 era). The last Austrian victory against Hungary was at the 1934 World Cup quarter final, which was 4 years ago at the moment.

I found a more detailed newspaper: The Sport-Tagblatt writes in the match preview http://anno.onb.ac.at/cgi-content/anno?apm=0&aid=wst&datum=19380423&seite=1&zoom=2
Some remarkable facts:
-> it reports Vienna lost the last match between both sides 2-1 last October (which was in 1937). On 10-10-1937 there was the match Austria 1-2 Hungary in Vienna.
-> total overall score between Vienna and Budapest at the time: played 83, Budapest won 36, drawn 21, Vienna won 26. Overall goalscore 185-174 in favour of the Hungarians.
-> total overall score between Austria and Hungary at the time: played 82, Hungary won 37, drawn 20, Austria won 25. Overall goalscore: 184-174 in favour of Hungary.
-> the resemblances Vienna v Budapest and Austria v Hungary are remarkable!

I really don't understand why Hungary doesn't cite this match on its official list. Hungary fielded its best team:

Antal Szentmihályi, Sándor Mátrai, László Sárosi, Ernő Solymosi (István Nagy), Kálmán Mészöly, Ferenc Sipos, Gyula Rákosi (János Farkas), János Göröcs, Flórián Albert, Lajos Tichy, Máté Fenyvesi (Gyula Rákosi). Coach: Lajos Baróti

National FA's are not very consistent regarding this matter. Hungary played several official A-internationals with teams that were rather B-teams than A-teams. It is logical to think Hungarian FA does not regard this match as official A because the opponent is not an A-team an/or does not regard this match as official A. However this is not very consistent as Hungary regard i.e. the 30-10-1946 match Luxembourg B 2-7 Hungary match as official A-international as you can read here http://roonba.20.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2265

Of course this is a case of labelling and in topic http://roonba.20.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1161 one can find more of such kind of examples about this matter.

Following topics also deal about such kind of issues.

Tibor Hauzer was born in 1946 so not a U23 team. This looks more like a young olympic selection.

10/03/76
El Salvador 1-2 Hungary
[Luis Baltazar Ramírez Zapata; László Pusztái, László Fazekas]

This date is not right - Hungary arrived in Guadalajara for their match vs Jalisco XI (on 10/2/76) from El Salvador. In an interview with the Hungarian coach published 10/2, he said they had just beaten El Salvador 2-1.

So I think the most realistic date for El Salvador 1-2 Hungary is 8/2/76.

This site says Hungary played Mexico on 03-02-1976 http://www.magyarfutball.hu/hu/merkozes/2728

Another site (Hungarian version about László Nagy) http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagy_L%C3%A1szl%C3%B3_labdar%C3%BAg%C3%B3 says Hungary played against Mexico on 04-02-1976, but it probably it was already 04-02-1976 in Hungary.

This site http://www.magyarfutball.hu/hu/merkozes/2933 reports El Salvador 1-2 Hungary was played on 09-02-1976 as El Salvador 1-2 Hungary B.

But that site refers directly to the El Salvadorean site "historiagol", which has shown some wrong dates for other matches. I don't have a newspaper to confirm this date though. FIFA News magazine said 8-2-76, as a "Category A" international.

Probably even the Moroccan FA doesn't know, but you could ask them.

I have also contacted them, sent them 8 reminders already since early July, the last one today (with the option I receive confirmation of my email). Well exactly 1 hour and three minutes after I sent my email it was read so they might have read the other mails too, but no answer

Has anyone an idea which Hungarian team played away against on Bulgaria on 02-04-1980 in Kyustendil (Bulgaria won 4-3)? In various publications I read Hungary fielded its A-, B- or Olympic team. This match is official A for Bulgaria.

After using Google translator I read something very intersting about the 24-04-1938 Vienna 3-5 Budapest match  The likes from Budapest played in red shirts and white shorts (just as Hungarian NT usually does), the likes from Vienna in white shirts (just like the Austrian team). But this is a Google translation, so I hope Magyarfutball can give us a proper translation.
