Interesting.

The first match above was played in Union Island (not Canouan).

There were 2 Canouan -Carriacou games in 2007 as well

22/11/2007 Canouan 6-3 Carriacou
09/12/2007 Canouan ?-? Carriacou

Carriacou is a dependency of Grenada, so these matches could be considered 'internationals' for them.

English or French ?

English is the main language, but they also use a Creole-French called Patois and some towns names derive from French.

More or less like in Texas, where English is obviously the main language, but you can also find several cities whose names derive from Spanish and where this language is widely used.

Bequia has its own league. In 2002 it had 10 clubs.

West Connection
Olympic Lions
United Force
High Times
Higher Heights
Zodiac
High Park United
Munich
Tyros
Uprising

It seems Carriacou 2-4 Canouan in 2012 was on 16.12.2012 (not 15.12 as mentioned here).

Also, a new one:

15.12.2013 Carriacou 1-2 Canouan

Goals for Canouan by Kurl Audain and Kentish Murray
Goal for Carriacou by Chad 'Manface' Richards smiley: roll

It seems to be an annual fixture held in Hillsborough, Carriacou on a Sunday in the middle of December.

Bequia 'national team' in training for a match against Calliaqua (a town on St. Vincent).  They've also played against Barrouallie (another town on St. Vincent).

Something about the angles in that photo is Escher-esque. It seems like none of the buildings, fields, roads, nor power cables are on matching levels. Which way is gravity!

As opposed to? Nice to see the stereotypical 'relaxed Caribbean' attitude in play with their nicknaming culture, shame that it may also extend to Bequia's groundskeeping community going by that picture, I'll offer the benefit of the doubt though.
