I guess Republic, not Democratic Republic, otherwise he would have been named Zaïre when he was born in 1976... ;-)

BTW, I presume "El Salvador" for the Netherlands doesn't count... ;-)

Well, Nemec means German(y) in some languages. Adam Nemec plays for Slovakia, Dejan Nemec did for Slovenia, Horst Nemec for Austria and Milan Nemec for Czechoslovakia.

How about former Dutch international players Clarence Seedorf. The German village of Seedorf is well known by many Dutch. BTW I belong to the ones who have served the Dutch army over there in the 1984-85 years s a member of the 42 pantserinfanteriebatajon (Limburgse Jagers).

I wish they would play in the Vatican, that way they could take part in a league already featuring the Sons of the Madonna of Divine Love, as we've found here (poor form by The Strongest that week though).
